Why solar?
With more than 300 sunny days a year in New Mexico, rooftop solar panels generate more than enough electricity to power essentials like water heaters, air conditioning, lighting, home appliances, and technology, as well as discretionary items that can significantly drive up utility bills, such as hot tubs and electric cars.

As energy prices climb, homeowners have the opportunity to lock in their electricity rates now, and look forward to an end date when they will stop paying for power altogether.
Why now?
The Energy Transition Act of New Mexico mandates that residences be increasingly powered by clean energy, with a zero-carbon standard by 2050. Requirements will increase incrementally, giving Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) time to integrate renewable energy into their grid.

However, when the existing feeder lines to a neighborhood reach an undefined capacity, it is “red zoned”, making connection to the PNM grid unavailable to homeowners and rooftop solar no longer an option to meet the state mandate.

A RedZone Solar team member knocks on your door, providing information and answering any questions you may have. This representative will be with you from beginning to end, ensuring the transition process goes smoothly.
Design

Considering previous 12-month energy consumption, foreseen increases, and the orientation of your home, we facilitate a customized rooftop solar design, with the amount of energy your system produces guaranteed.
Funding

The RedZone Discovery Questionnaire helps homeowners choose the best option to transition the home. One size does not fit all. We tailor our approach to key considerations of financial incentives, maintenance options, and the process of selling the home. With an array of funding options, we provide mechanisms that protect, provide, and prosper.
Installation

RedZone oversees the installation of your rooftop solar panels by certified Freedom Forever installers, ensuring the placement, mounting, and wiring process goes smoothly and according to the contracted design plan. All project installations come with a workmanship and production-performance guarantee.
Connection

Once your property receives permission to operate, your RedZone representative will join you to celebrate the completion of your home’s transition to renewable energy, locking your rates in until you stop paying for electricity altogether.

RedZone Solar Group was formed to disrupt and deconstruct the residential rooftop solar industry with integrity and a steadfast commitment to the customer experience. We are intent on delivering best-in-class service and believe that transparent engagement paves the way for organic, relational growth. Each member of the RedZone team is experienced in navigating the transition to solar, from sale to design, funding, installation, through permission-to-operate. Our goal is to “red zone” the communities we service so that they can individually lock in their rates with a clean energy alternative while the option is still available. We stand behind our commitment and give back to our communities with a 10% donation to every community we redzone.
Christopher Gamble, Founder
As a former high school, collegiate, and professional wide receiver, I made a living never getting caught in the red zone. I founded RedZone Solar Group with the same mindset—to keep the members of my community from getting trapped in a circumstance where they have no control. With first-hand knowledge that there is no downside to solar powering a home and conviction that everyone should have the opportunity to retire their electric bills for a lifetime, I am a rooftop solar evangelist, and have recruited a team that is equally committed to transparently engaging the community to drive awareness and enthusiastically transitioning homes, connecting all to a world powered by sun.
